Instructor Bios

After graduation from Catoosa High School, Sue attended the University of Tulsa on a vocal music scholarship where she sang in the Modern Choir.  She studied with Arthur Hestwood and Jane Carmichael Everitt.  Sue minored in piano and also played trombone.

Sue has performed all over the United States as well as Europe and Japan.  She has been a soloist for the Miss Oklahoma pageant, The Petroleum Marketers Association in Washington D.C., Larry Dalton Christmas Shows, Oklahoma Sinfonia concerts, TCC's Signature Symphony, Tulsa Praise Orchestra, First Baptist Church of Tulsa's Living Christmas Tree for 25 years, Oklahoma Baptist Convention, southern Baptist Conventions, Ralph Blane recordings and a soloist and member of First Baptist Church if Tulsa's Sanctuary choir for 36 years.

Sue spent 25 years working at an oil company and has recently changed careers to a Geologist Technician, but says that her love for music has always kept her very active in the community and that love will never die!  Sue is an excellent voice and piano teacher.
