Rod grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas where he studied classical guitar at Midwestern State. He plays piano, guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, and fiddle. He also composes and sings. Rod has worked with Grammy winner Bruce Carroll and Grammy nominee Martha Munizzi. He is the founder and director of the Tulsa Guitar Society and performs every Friday and Saturday night at Benali's Italian Ristorante in Broken Arrow.
