He has been involved with leading several worship bands in local churches, playing, singing, and songwriting in his band Red Wood Rising, and playing in jazz combos.
Isaac is a graduate of Oral Roberts University with a bachelors degree in Classical Guitar Performance.
He is well versed in playing and teaching many styles of guitar including, Blues, Rock, Jazz, Reggae, Folk, Praise and Worship, and Classical.
His distinguishing feature is teaching lap steel (weissenborn and dobro), beginning bass, and beginning banjo.
Isaac’s style of teaching involves music theory, technical skills and training the students ear to hear then play.
His goal is to give the student the tools to play any song they want and eventually allow your child to learn on their own, but most importantly he believes in having fun with guitar and learning music the student is excited about learning.
