Elementary Music/Recorder Ensemble – Angelica Hilst
The recommended age for beginning band or orchestra ranges from 4th to 6th grade. We would like to give those kids younger than that an introduction to music and instrumental playing with this class. Music fundamentals such as rhythm and note-reading will be introduced and then applied by learning the recorder. This class will run concurrently with the band and orchestra classes so that your littles and bigs can both be learning and playing music at the same time.
