Ana Marie Ort graduated from home-school high school in 2005 and plans to graduate with her BA in Music through Thomas Edison State College in October 2010. She has been studying violin with various teachers during the past 10 years. Currently, her teacher is Steve Hamm, former professor at Oral Roberts University.
She has benefited from String Workshops and Creative Tension String Workshops, and is particularly interested in the concepts of playing violin with proficiency and ease. Ana Marie has been playing with the Signature Symphony since September 2007. She started teaching violin in 2003 and greatly enjoys working with students and their parents as she seeks to communicate the joy and technique of violin playing.
